Every year The Legion National Foundation organizes the Digital Poppy fundraising
campaign. Together with the support of Canadians from coast to coast, we raise much-needed funds to positively impact the wellbeing and quality of life of Canada’s Veterans and their families.
Honouring and remembering Canada’s Veterans
The Legion National Foundation, with its national scope, fosters initiatives that enhance
the lives of Veterans who have served or continue to serve in the Canadian Armed
Forces and the Royal Canadian Mounted Police.
The Foundation mission is expressed through the support of Health and Wellness
programs that are tailored to Veterans’ unique needs. The Legion National Foundation
works closely with organizations and institutions to award scholarships and bursaries to
support individuals with their education.
Thanks to our generous donors, children and youth across Canada can learn about
Canada’s military history and heritage and can witness sacrifices that were made by
Veterans in the service of their country.

Established with the purpose of reaching more Veterans in need, The Legion National Foundation is a national charity dedicated to preserving the legacy of Veterans, members of the Canadian Armed Forces, The Royal Mounted Police, and their families. Through our programs, we promote the education of Canada's military history to ensure Canadians never forget and aim to enrich and restore balance in the lives of Veterans
facing hardship.
The Legion National Foundation Helping Veterans
To ensure that Veterans experience as high a quality of life as possible, The Legion
National Foundation supports community organizations that focus on Veterans’ health
and wellness programs.
Through initiatives such as Pilgrimages of Remembrance and Remembrance-themed
literary and poster contests for youth, The Legion National Foundation ensures that
Veterans’ contributions are acknowledged and remembered.
The Foundation fosters Veterans and their families’ future well-being by providing
scholarships and bursaries in support of research into Veteran issues.
